We produce electricity and heat from our own fuel sources
We produce electricity and heat in our combined heat and power units using up to 90 % of the fuel supplied turning it efficiently into electricity and heat. As one of few production sources, these units can use fuel with low heating value, such as coal mine gas. Hence, we are not dependent on natural gas supplies from third-party suppliers and we can guarantee regular supplies of electricity and heat.
Using a local source of fuel
We are not dependent on fuel supplies thanks to in-house resources and mining of coal mine methane. Therefore we can produce electricity and heat under any circumstances.
Environment care
By utilizing the coal mine methane, we are preventing its uncontrolled leakage into the air where it causes the greenhouse effect. What is more, we are enhancing residential safety in the post-mining districts and the Moravian-Silesian Region.

Region’s energy self-sufficiency
We are producing electricity and heat directly where they are consumed as our combined heat and power units are placed at various locations in the region. This helps us to reduce energy losses in transport and dependency on electrical energy produced outside of the Moravian-Silesian Region.
20 years of experience
We have been dealing with electricity and heat production in combined heat and power units for almost 20 years. We are operating combined heat and power units at 15 sites in the Moravian-Silesian Region enhancing the region’s energy self-sufficiency.
